Daniel Son – Lead Pastor
Pastor Daniel and Lydia have been serving in ministry together since 2003. Lydia is native to the Seattle area and Daniel moved from his hometown of New York in 2001. He graduated from Wheaton College and Gordon-Conwell seminary. They have two teenage boys (Micah and Caleb) and together they love living in and enjoying the Pacific Northwest. They love playing sports, biking, hiking and just enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. Their greatest passion is Jesus and the good news of His amazing grace. The message is simple. Regardless of who you are, where you’ve been and where you are now, you are BELOVED by God, because of Christ alone. The hope of this church is to be a community of people living out and proclaiming this beautiful message of Christ’s grace.
Chris Park – Youth Pastor & Esther Park – Admin

Pastor Chris and Esther got married in 2020. Prior to being married, Esther was serving in Southern California, where she was born, as a children’s pastor, and Chris was serving in Colorado, which he is native to, as a youth pastor. Upon being married, Esther moved out to Colorado and the two served together at a local church as the children and youth pastors. Chris graduated from college at Colorado School of Mines with an engineering degree and went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for his M.Div. In 2023, they welcomed their daughter, Evelyn, into this world. Chris loves to watch and play sports, Esther loves to cycle and crochet, and the two love hiking and being outside. Their family is dedicated to loving God, loving others, and serving others. They are looking for ways to help others understand that they are BELOVED by God.
Serena Fang – Beloved Kids Director
Serena was born and raised in Honolulu, where she was a public school teacher and obtained a Dual Bachelor’s in Early and Elementary Childhood Education from UH Manoa. She met her husband Daniel in 2014 when he was stationed in Hawaii after graduating from Westpoint, and the two relocated to Washington in 2016, where they found Church of The Beloved. The two were overjoyed to welcome their first child Eden in late 2025. Serena enjoys cooking, (easy) hikes, and listening to audiobooks, and Daniel enjoys working out and exploring the PNW. They are passionate about serving individuals and families in their community, with a special heart for impressionable young children, as they develop a lifelong foundation for a meaningful relationship with God.

Elders Team
Our Elders Team consists of Pastor Daniel, Ryan Kwok and Dan Lee. Together they are responsible for overseeing and leading the ministry, shepherding the people of God, and teaching the Word of God.
